Privacy Policy
Muster has no accounts. It never asks for your name, your email, or a password, and it has no way to learn who you are.
The device identifier
On first launch the app generates a random identifier and stores it in the device Keychain. It is not derived from anything about you or your phone, and it is not shared between your devices.
That identifier is the only thing tying a watchlist to a person, and it is why the app can keep a list without an account. Settings › Delete local data destroys it; the app generates a new one and the old list becomes unreachable.
What is stored on our server
Against that identifier, and nothing else:
- the ticker symbols on your watchlist;
- which of the three horizons you want alerts for;
- your device's time zone, so an alert does not arrive at three in the morning;
- the notification token Apple issues, if you turn alerts on.
What is stored on your phone
Your watchlist, your settings, and the most recent counts so the app opens without waiting for the network.
What Muster does not do
No analytics library. No advertising identifier. No tracking across apps or websites. No profile of you, and no sale or sharing of data, because there is nothing to sell.
Services the app contacts
- Supabase hosts the counts and your watchlist.
- logo.dev and CoinGecko serve company and coin marks. Each request tells them which mark was asked for — which is the asset on your screen — and carries your IP address, as any web request does.
- Apple handles subscriptions. Apple tells the app whether one is active. Payment details never reach us.
- Apple Push Notification service delivers alerts, if you turn them on.
Children
Muster is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect anything from them.
Deleting your data
Settings › Delete local data clears the watchlist, the cached counts and the device identifier. Without the identifier the stored list can no longer be reached by anyone, including us. To have the server rows removed outright, write to the address below.
Changes
The date at the top of this page changes when this policy does.
